I have arrived, and it's hot

It is a very long journey over to Hong Kong. I arrived about 20 minutes ago and I'm exhausted. I had a couple naps during my flights, but I stayed away from the Ambien. I was sitting in the very last row by myself so it wasn't that bad of a flight. There were a few movies I watched, and I read a lot. (Movies - Star Trek (good), Duplicity (forgettable), 17 Again (was bored) and The Great Buck Howard (better than I thought it was going to be).
This page in which I am writing this, and my home page, are mainly in Cantonese (or Mandarin, I'm not sure which one), so that was a nice surprise. My bed is quite small. I'll put up a picture of it as soon as I figure out my internet.
Hope everyone has a nice Saturday (it's 8pm here now - 13 hour time difference from Chicago).
My skype account is michael.jones2245 if anyone ever wants to talk.

  1. Good Morning Michael. Can you tell dad wrote that first message? Delighted to know you are safe and sound. I'm sure you are very tired, but it is good to tryand stay up for awhile, so you can get a full night's sleep tonight. How was the food on the plane? Did Mr. Lee meet you in the arrivals hall? How far from the airport to the university? Met your roommate yet? How about your "buddy"? Thank God you are used to sleeping in the fetal position because of your short bed at home. Maybe you can put an extension on it? Did everything go smoothly with settling your housing account? These and so... many other questions I wonder about... Take care. Be safe. Love you. Mom
